The Enclosure Range from Daniel Whelan Engineering Works Ltd combines aesthetics with functionality and innovation to deliver a product that is not only the latest in convenience for your home or property development, but also add’s that eye-catching element. The Residential range features three enclosures that have been used in residential developments across Ireland. Ideal for private or terraced housing with no access to back gardens. The Bin Enclosure was created in conjunction with our customer base, they needed a solution to the storage of waste bins in residential developments.

Rather than creating a temporary solution to a problem that seemed permanent, Daniel Whelan Engineering Works Ltd have created an aesthetically pleasing, eye-catching solution that not only eliminated this problem – but added value to the property. The range now features three enclosures and we are currently in the R&D phase of expanding this range.

The Bin Enclosure Range was designed following a four stage process whereby we spoke to property developers, architects, landscape architects and homeowners across Ireland to discover what was most important to them when design the enclosure range. Across the board one common topic was obvious. Our customer base continually alluded to the eye-sore of bins at the side or at the front of the home and there was a consensus that if a product existed that combined an aesthetically pleasing design with the functionality of hiding bins in a manner which complemented their home – this would spark interest from developers, architects and homeowners.

The Metropolitan

The Metropolitan is a result of constant innovation and attention to detail from Bin-Dok. The Metropolitan it’s name from it’s eye-catching design as it can be seen from anywhere. This enclosure is a welcomed suite of furniture to any home or housing development. The lighter wood finish is combined with user friendly gas rams and a lockable lid, much like the Metropolitan model – offering unrivalled durability and safety again coupled with a lighter finish and an eye-catching design.

The Urban

The Urban Enclosure is a stylish, aesthetically pleasing enclosure designed with ease of use and functionality in mind. Alongside eliminating the issue of having your bins constantly on display this enclosure also adds an extra visual element to your property. The Urban enclosure is commonly used on large scale residential developments throughout Ireland.
